We are thrilled to announce our newest brand, Fusion Beauty!  Never heard of Fusion Beauty?  Well let this be your notice!  This brand is the most fun one that I’ve had the pleasure of experimenting with thus far!  The results are phenomenal, and quite frankly, I’m addicted to the colourshines & the LipFusion XL!

Here’s my review of what I’ve tried so far…

LipFusion XL

The description given for this product is as follows:

The first nighttime topical injectable that copmbines dehydrated encapsulated microspheres of marine collagen & hyaluronic acid.  Contains twice the amount of marine collagen filling spheres compared to the number 1 lip plumper, LipFusion.

I did some product knowledge training & received the advice to use the treatment in the morning & evening.  It works all day to plump up your lips, and since it’s more of a treatment than a gloss, you can put it on in the morning after you brush your teeth & have supple looking lips all day long.  It really does work!  Follow it up with one of the LipFusion colourshines & you’ve got some sexy lips! Another fun feature…got a few wrinkles OVER your lip?  You can apply LipFusion XL to the skin above your lip & erase those lines! 

The second product I use loyally are the Colourshines (I like the ‘belle’ shade). 

This is the standard plumper from Fusion Beauty that they originally released into the market in a ‘clear’ shade.  This stuff is AMAZING!  I can’t go back now.  Be aware, if you’ve tried lip plumpers before & found them painful, this is because many of them use pepper or other irritants in their formula to plump your lips.  LipFusion uses marine collagen that works with your bodies natural water to gradually plump up your lips. The result is most noticeable 20 minutes after application.  You will feel a tingling sensation when you use this product, but it is gentle & not painful at all.  Kind of a freezing effect really, it’s great!  Furthermore, even after the tingling has stopped, your lips remain plump.  I find mine to look plump even after the glossiness has worn away (which, by the way, takes a long while to happen)! 

 I’ve been told that if you mix in the plumping pencils, you can really achieve that true pout that is so in demand these days!  Also, the plump+re-plump lip sticks work so that whenever you moisten your lips, they re-plump!  Talk about sexy! 

 I encourage you to try them.  They are non-irritant based & have been awarded the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval!

We’ve just started offering L’Oreal Professional Serie Homme (for men).  It’s a great line!  I recommend (via my husband) the tonique shampoo. 

So much about hair & skin care is focused on the ladies.  But in 2008 more men are interested in finding premium skin & hair care.  We offer a few things in the Exclusive Beauty Boutique for men.  Check out Sothys homme, a great men’s skin care line with one of the nicest smelling aftershaves I’ve smelled!  Dermalogica doesn’t offer a men’s line per se, but that’s because they offer a very wide range of skin care which is targeted and men & women.  They do combine some of their skin therapy into a men’s skin kit which can be found here.

Product placement aside, I have been on a bit of a health kick lately!  Going on a big trip in May, and I want to look good.  I’ve been chugging the water (as I often do) but I’ve stepped it up even further, and let me just say, my skin looks amazing!  This is a nice thing to say since it’s been a LONG winter up here in Canada, and it’s easy to remember your beautiful self underneath all of the layers, but truly, it’s nice to look in the mirror & see great skin!
